Teen Kidnapped Porn
Teen Kidnapped Porn is a story about teenage sexual abuse and how it’s shared through social media platforms, particularly Periscope and Snapchat. A 15-year-old girl in Sunrise, Florida went missing after sharing intimate photos with friends over these platforms and later appearing in 58 sexually explicit videos posted to various websites such as Pornhub and Modelhub.
Mother of girl reported she stopped going to school and didn’t contact family or friends during time away from home. Eventually she made it to a house in Detroit where she met 30-year-old Devan Cook, who convinced the girl to film him performing sexual acts. According to court documents he told her he loved her often used guilt trips or gave gifts such as Roblox gift cards as incentives in order to film videos and texts with her which he then screen-recorded and saved to his phone, according to reports from court documents.
He then sent her on a trip to Hawaii and purchased camping equipment. According to prosecutors, he was arrested after her mother reported him for using her daughter’s name and images to promote online content he created of her.
Illegal to give access to adult pornography to children. A study by Safe Harbor determined that exposure to or witnessing of sexual abuse could cause nightmares, eating disorders and poor school performance in these children as well as difficulty forming relationships and fearing further assault. Unfortunately, the problem goes well beyond sites like Pornhub or XVideos; even more innocent-sounding sites such as Twitter, Reddit and Facebook often contain depictions of child exploitation.
