Teen Fucking Story

Sales’ stories, drawn from interviews with hundreds of teens and adults, are consistently grim. One girl is bullied online; another has her sexy photos shared amongst all students; yet another attempts suicide. Girls without bras or good figures are considered “fat” or repulsive while boys are told their only option may be becoming rappers or football stars or getting into finance or law jobs.

Teens need to gain knowledge about their bodies. They should understand puberty and the workings of their sexual organs, while being able to express themselves freely. Parents should encourage these discussions throughout adolescence as a means of helping teens establish clear boundaries (including kissing, touching, oral sex and intercourse).

That means recognizing that sexual misconduct is never acceptable and being aware of the risks involved with sexual exploitation and abuse (it’s estimated that 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 7 boys will experience abuse before reaching 18). Furthermore, they need to understand that abusers or exploiters may come from among friends, family members, teachers, coaches or even trusted adults – as this behavior doesn’t just occur among strangers but can occur within trusted adult groups like teachers and coaches as well.
