Teen Nudist Pic

Since January, a middle school girl in North Kansas City, Missouri took and sent a partially nude selfie to a boy she knew; that individual then uploaded and posted the image online where it quickly gained popularity among others. Although she may have intended for it only to remain for his eyes alone, but unfortunately the internet can be an unpredictable place where images can spread easily.

Teens and parents need to discuss the dangers associated with sexting in order to promote safe sexual development. Sexting is defined as the practice of sending sexually suggestive images and text messages over text or phone to someone you know, usually for sexual gratification or flirtation purposes. While research shows sexting may not be harmful, and may even contribute to healthy sexuality development, its practice can still lead to peer pressure as well as depression or other forms of psychological issues.

A teen wearing a red bikini proudly spreads her legs to show off her ample bosom while her friends cheer her on, creating an image reminiscent of old spank mag pages or contemporary gallery sites. All three girls sport large bosoms and smooth skin despite visible digital manipulation in these photos.

No one should blame the girls for sharing or creating sexually explicit images; had they put them away safely instead, the photos wouldn’t have ended up on websites requiring passwords and age verification for access. Anyone distributing sexually explicit material risks being charged with child pornography and must register as a sexual offender.
