Teen Snapchat Nude Leaks

A new series of leaked photos is making waves online – this time featuring nude snapchats of teens rather than dogs or people’s meals. Dubbed #TheSnappening, this latest leak has met with widespread outrage similar to what occurred with Jennifer Lawrence nude photo leakage last month.

Snapchat is an immensely popular messaging app used by teens that allows users to send texts, photos and videos that automatically delete after anywhere from 1-10 seconds. It has quickly become the go-to method for sexting, pornographic sharing and other illicit acts; while people may prefer an untraceable and discreet platform such as this for sending provocative photos and videos between friends. Unfortunately though, its anonymity may pose serious danger if teens using the app don’t realize there are others like them out there using it too.

WFLA reported that Tovonna Holton, 15, committed suicide after her friends recorded and shared footage of her showering via Snapchat with classmates, according to WFLA. Her ex-partner Trent Mansberger threatened her that the footage could be leaked onto social media and family.

Other teens are falling prey to similar threats and sexting on Snapchat, particularly through subreddits such as r/DirtySnapchat which features one-sentence posts from people looking for someone with whom to sext on Snapchat – potentially as part of an attempt at getting subscribers for Snapchat premium or OnlyFans (a sex worker-run site known for sharing revenge porn). Many appear to simply be amateurs unaware anyone will actually watch their Snaps.
